Happy Hour with David Letterman


A band named The Orwells tore up the Ed Sullivan stage last night.  And I loved it.  So I bought the EP Who Needs You solely on the merits of this single performance.  


Can't play another song though? Paul Shaffer & The CBS Orchestra are the best in the biz.


And I thought the art of the "drunken" performance on Letterman was lost forever! Remember this? Does Julian Casablancas remember this? 


And let us also never forget this gem of all gems...  Take it away, Van!


The spirit of rock n roll is alive and well. And I’m excited about 2014.  I won’t miss the 80’s.

    First of all, DAT HAIR. What a phenomenal fucking performance. Aw, and look at cute, you Julian! The beginning of a new era with that album...

    But seriously, The Orwell singer just raised the bar to another level. The song, the singing, the swagger. Perfect
